NCC
The school's National Cadet Corps wing is known as the 47th troop of the 9th Karnataka Battalion. There are separate wings for boys and girls. Disciplined and smartly turned out, they are ever present at all school and public functions held at Cathedral. They perform an extremely useful role in the orderly conduct of such functions. Students who join the NCC develop discipline, initiative, loyalty and the spirit of teamwork and comradeship.
Scouts & Cubs - Guides & Bulbuls
Scouts and Cubs for boys - Guides and Bulbuls for girls are the uniformed services that enhance outdoor knowledge and skills. Their activities emphasize team work and self reliance and also contribute towards developing leadership qualities
CSS
CSS (Cathedral Service Scheme) gives students the rare opportunity for social work and helps them make a difference in the lives of not only the underprivileged and the destitute, but also common citizens.
It allows them a glimpse into our country's most dire social, economic and environmental problems, presenting them with an opportunity to be involved in a social cause. The cause could be anything from promoting literacy and fighting pollution to helping eradicate poverty.
